What is CADH's History?
The Connecticut Association of Directors of Health (CADH) began in the 1960’s as a membership organization run entirely by volunteers. It provided a forum for local health directors to come together to share local public health practices and to address issues of mutual interest. CADH incorporated in Connecticut in 1996 and hired its first and current Executive Director in 2002. CADH has since grown to be supported by a diverse staff.
Is CADH an Affiliate of a National Organization?
It is a State Association of County and City Health Officials (SACCHO), an affiliate of the National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO).
